GOD WORKS

by Prince Josiah Jeyaraj

"We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28 NIV)

God can take things that are bad and turn it for our good. He works all things together for good, and He gives us the wonderful promise that He will do so. For God is Eternal and he is working, He never sleeps, He never slumbers. He never tires of hearing our prayer. God is never in a hurry. He is seeing how and when we would trust him. The problem we live instant or quick generation, we need things to happen rapidly. We don’t have patience to wait. God’s blessing in our lives comes at the right time. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.

Joseph held onto the promise with all patience, though his life was full of wrongful accusations and betrayals. His own brothers betrayed him, he was falsely accused by his master’s wife, thrown into prison and left to be forgotten for years. Yet when Joseph surveyed his circumstances, he was able to witness that what others meant for evil, God had used for good:

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children (Genesis 50:20-21).

This can be very true in our lives and careers as it was for Joseph. Success came upon Joseph’s life based on his decision to trust God always and follow him. Joseph could see that God was behind every of his life and he was right where God has always planned for him to be and his willingness to accept the circumstances and faith in God, that HE is still at work.

We need to remind ourselves of Joseph story, if we are struggling to see beyond our situations and circumstances. God can also put you at the right place for you to be successful. And it’s important to look beyond our natural situations and circumstances and trust God to give us success. When you pray confidently, He will lead us to the abundant life, blessed life He has promised us.
