success, its part of success.” - Arianna Huffington
“A failure is not a loss. It’s a
gain. You learn. You change. You grow.” — Michael Barata
Every person wants to be a successful. I don’t think anyone
purposefully wants to fail. Success and failure are part of anyone’s life and
that is the reality. There were many great personalities in the Bible who
miserably failed at one time or the other. This was true of Abraham, Moses,
King David, Prophet Elijah and Peter. Their failures were huge setbacks in
their lives; however they learnt from their failure and never let those
failures to overcome them.
The only way
failure can get over our lives is that when we choose to let failure overcome
us, but let us remember we trust a God is who able to make us an
overcomer.
In Philippians
3:13-14,we read, No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I
focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies
ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize
for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.
The lesson
from saints of God, like Paul is for us: forget the past and look forward to
what lies ahead. So take Paul's advice and do this one thing: stop thinking of the
past. It's over. Press on. Press forward. Push against all the odds. Jesus is
calling you onward.
In Psalm
37:23-24, The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail
of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds
them by the hand.
Deep in the
depths of failure, it can be difficult to understand the heart of God. Why
would He love me and still let me fail? Even when you fail not only he loves
you but he holds your hand. Others may leave and disown you, but Jesus is by
your side holding your hand. He is not embarrassed by your mess.
Don't let
failure be the final word in your story.
